$22/hr new grad LPN

$17.25 + $1 differential in a group home in TN. 12 years experience.

Disclaimer: I don't work as a nurse anymore.

Almost $40/hr., plus full benes (Inc. 100% employer-paid healthcare w vision, dental, outside gym plan, etc.), retirement, numerous bonuses and a heck of a lot of time off (and no mandation). OT after eight hours and double time on Sunday. I work days, but if I wanted afternoons, there's a $1.85/hr diff, and overnights is a $3.90 diff. Company supplied (and laundered) work clothing, company supplied safety shoes, three private full-size lockers (one for weekly work clothing & shoes, one in shiny pretty locker room, one out on the shop floor), a company gym (with another shiny pretty locker room), showers (private, with mini dressing area attached to each one, in each locker room).

Holidays pay at triple time or double time w/an extra paid day off, your choice. If you work your regular shift and they call asking you to come in early (within 8 hours of having left, you will get what's called 'quick-turn' pay, and it is double time for those extra hours plus your next eight hours. I've worked in two plants that had this. Also, if certain skilled trades have to stay over a certain set of hours due to a plant problem, they get this, too.

Oh, and no more banging my head against the wall..like I did when I was nursing (BTW, my previous factory job paid for my nursing degree, and even continued paying it for two years after I had left that job).

I left nursing (albeit sadly, but still resolutely) for this...I went back to the factory. No regrets, no way, uh uh.

Hey just wandering what made you leave nursing ? What didn't you like about it ?

I work in Kansas City MO, Im a school nurse and make 17.65/hr now but i only work about 160 days a year, before I works at a DRs office and started out at 16.00/hr then after 6mo i made 16.50/hr

Got a new home hlth job but I dont know Bayadas pay rate. I start orientation in a week. Coworker told me about it. She earns late 20s to early 30s. Shes an RN, though.

Homehealth is kind of boring but I need a change right now.

It seems promising. I tried 2 other facilities but the pay was low. The recruiters told me they do hire for Tampa General. I suppose youre doing admissions and discharges, I dont know.

Promed Healthcare and Staff America.

I think Staff America does same day pay. I just didnt go with Pro med because they want all of this paperwork and the home facility for pro med isnt in Tampa.

New grad pay was $20.0

I have 3.5 years of experience. I think Im approaching the limit as an lvn, unless I try management. That's not going to happen. There's always room for growth in ltc but the last thing Id ever want to beos a^/don. Im starting my bridge program in a short while, though. No biggie.

Started out as new grad in TN $21/hr plus shift diff $4.50 and additional $8 on weekends in the ER. 2+ years later I make $25 plus some change w/ same shift diff but weekend pay is $6.50.

My 2nd job is in SDS $32/hr, $4.25 shift diff w/ an additional $1 for bedside.

I work in a state forensic psych hospital. I make $30.48 per hour plus $1 for bedside along with shift and weekend differentials. I have excellent benefits, a pension, and 6 weeks paid leave (vacation, personal holiday, Sat/Legal holiday) per year. I am an RN though...

$25.5 for the weekend gig. I said $24.5 before. It's a $3.5 shif diff, also. Not 3.0.

ER nurse in PA, 34.95/HR and 10% shift differential. 1.5 years experience.

Northeast Ohio, 27+ years experience, 20.20 after three years in a national chain nursing home. Benefits and pay increases are bare bones but it's a job. Most facilities in the area are just about the same re pay/benefits. Folks employed prior to 2008 have a much better hourly wage.
