It depends on if your family is a full time job, would need more information..do you have help? How many kids? Can you hire babysitters etc.?
A&P 1 & 2 are pretty heavy courses
General Psychology is pretty easy depending on your instructor.
Nutrition is pretty lightweight.
Pharmacological type courses are usually pretty heavy.
Medical Terminology is lightweight, especially if you have a good memory.
Oh, and given that A&P 1 is a prereq for A&P2 I don't think you could take both in the same semester at most schools.
No, I wouldn't say they are, they can do things for themselves and my husband would be great help. All are online classes except a&p1,a&p2 , and gen. psych.

Depends on whether you want a life, your kids will co-operate, their ages and how quick you need to get them done.
I held my pre-reqs to 2 a semester with a family and working also. Take a more technical with a less technical class, save the pharm until after you have had your terminology and A&P's out of the way.
Within two semesters. So should I take pharm in the 2 sem. and med. term. in the 1st?

So does it sound good to take nutrition (online), a&p 1, and medical term.(online) in the 1st sem. and pharm (online), a &p 2, and gen. psych. in the 2nd? Or, is this too much? Thanks for all replies.....

nutrition, med term (if it is a required course), a&p1, psych would give you about 13 hrs I say put off pharmacology because IMHO it's better to have the knowledge of med terms before having to apply them in a pharm class. If med term isn't required, I wouldn't bother with it; you will hear the med. terms so often throughout your education you would have to be in a coma to not learn them.
I hate it when that happens.

I would definitely take AP 1, Nutrition and Gen Psyc. together. I loved my online classes (I took Nutrition, Human Growth and Development Psyc.) As long as you follow the schedule for your online classes you will be fine. I wish there were more of them when I was an undergrad. I have never taken medical term., but it sounds pretty straight foward. I have heard Pharm is a killer, so I would not pack too many classes with that if you can help it.
I did not work during my prereqs. and I don't have a family to look after. It has been my experience that students with families do really well, because they HAVE to stick to a schedule. Sometimes, I would put off some things b/c all I had to do was study. I am sure you will do just great and good luck!

NO WAY!!! If you want to do well in these classes, I would not advise taking all those classes together at the same time. Each A & P class usually requires labs, so just those two classes alone are the equivalent of 4 classes...plus the other classes you mentioned would bring that total up to 8 classes or possibly 20 credit hours. I think that's way too much. Unless your name is Einstein, I wouldn't even attempt that load. The goal is to do well in these classes; not to just finish them to get them over with as soon as possible.

Have you been in or out of school? I'd start w/ psych., nutrition, med term.
If you need to go full time for fin. aid, is there another class you can take?
I'm asking because the med term will help greatly for all the medical classes, including pharm, a&p, etc.
Otherwise add pharm OR a&p.

So which classes out of the five would you take in the first semester? I listed in one post which ones were online.
