How many are in your STEMI team?

I was told by one of our per diem nurses that most, if not all, STEMI teams in the bay area California, have a 4 man(woman) team (3 nurses and 1 tech). Just wondering if other hospitals follow this trend. If you are, is there an article that can support having a 4 man team? I would like to implement it in my hospital if I can

Hi we run 4 man teams in my lab. It's so that we can bill for moderate sedation by having a dedicated sedation nurse.

We have 3 people and the doctor. It is the circulating nurse (who also does the sedation), the scrub tech, and the CVT. The scrub tech in my state is always a rad tech...the CVT is usually a rad tech but can be a nurse too.
