How to make a back up plan in case I don’t get into school?

Hi everyone! I’m applying to an associates in surgical technology program in the Spring and I just have a lot of anxiety about not getting in. I have a baby and I’m not working while I’m in school so I can’t wait a whole year to apply again. What were y’alls back up plans in case you didn’t get into your program? I’ve thought about applying to an LPN program or a med-surg tech program in case I don’t get in but I’m not sure what to do.

    If you can, I would apply to more surgical technology programs (because I am assuming that is where your heart is) as well as a couple of LPN programs for backup. Best of luck to you!
