If I choose to go into nursing, I would be at a community college for 4 years since I need to do my prereqs.
Can I finish it in 2 years? I don't want to stay there for 3 years.
Also, I have a 3.4 GPA what are my chances (bay area).Thanks.

BSN usually takes 2 years to complete... the amount of time you spend in the community college taking your pre-reqs depends on how many credits you can take each semester and how many pre reqs you have to take before being able to apply to the nursing program. For a BSN program you should be able to finish your pre reqs in 2 years, taking classes full time during the regular semesters and taking some extra classes during the summer session and/or minimesters.
Yes I know, but I choose another major. So I started late for pre reqs.
I guess I wasnt clear. How long does nursing school take after you transfer?

Depends on the school. Some schools have clinicals for 2 years, some 2.5 (like my BSN program), and some 3. You'll have to get your answer from the schools you want to go to.
