I am spending hours upon hours sitting doing homework...any recommendations for the best chair? What do you have, how long have you used it, and what do you like? Dislike? Thanks!

I'm not a student, but do a lot of desk work for my research projects. I have a treadmill desk. I walk at 1 mph, and am able to read and type on my laptop. The learning curve is pretty short (took me about two, thirty minute sessions to be comfortable doing this. I can EASILY do an hour's worth of work/walking per day OUT of my chair. (They also make them for stationary bikes)
Again, you are not looking for a workout- you are looking to be moving. Slowly. Like I said, 1 mph or so. They're not cheap, (mine was $400 on Amazon) but I've seen building plans on pinterest where you can make one for around $50 in materials.
Treadmill Desk from TrekDesk
If you're just reading (either a book or the computer screen) you might try this cheaper alternative.....

Mind. Blown.
That is SO cool!
Great idea, but for me I need a recommendation for a really good ergonomic chair---as I am doing way more time at desk than just reading...but that sounds like a great way to keep moving!
