Home from the NCLEX!!!!

Published

Well I don't exactly know what to think, I just got home from the boards. I had 75 questions, atleast 10 were SATA, 10 or so meds, a drag and drop, lots of infection control, a little peds, a little psych and no OB....I don't think I actually took a breath until the test shut off...I am glad it is over, now just to wait for the results.....

Good luck to everyone still taking the exam in the future....

Wishing you all the best. Take the time to relax now - you deserve it

looks good, let us know and relax.

ugh, me too!

I did it this morning, 75 questions, 2 hours and the screen went blank...I have no idea what to think :uhoh21: There were quite a few I didn't know and I got two of pretty much the exact same dosage calculation that took me forever and leads me to believe I didnt get it right the first time. A couple SATA, no OB, tons of priority and my last two were pretty much on the same topic :o Ugh, I went in there feeling confident but now I'm not so sure, ugh

Well I just tried the Pearson Vue trick, and it wouldn't let me pay...so I am really hoping this trick is true, cause if it is I passed.......OMG I hope so.....

I will let you all know once the official results are posted!

what materials did you use to study the infection control? did you have any review course?

I used Kaplan's review that my school had for us, then I used Sylvia Rayfields RN made incredibly easy review from there 3 day course my employer purchased for us...I did every single question in both reviews, and read every single rationale when I missed something....

Infection control, i went to the CDC website, and made a chart of Airborne, Contact and Droplet precautions....including what you could wear and not wear....I spent alot of time with this, because alot of people have said infection control was big on there test.....I will second that!!!

Good luck. I have reviewed a lot of infection control myself. A friend took it today (75 questions) and NOT ONE DAG ON INFECTION CONTROL! She got lots of application...know the disease...what labs would be affected and said it was easy! She said she really felt like it was straight forward! I am praying...I go TOMORROW!
