History 1312

Hello all! Quick question, do I REALLY need all three textbooks for the history 2 class? I have five classes left before I'm finished and I have noticed after buying books for other classes that I could have done without them. So I ask you, which books do I REALLY need for the course? Thanks!

Unless the course changed drastically from last year, you will need all the books for HIST 1312...even thought you will have a ton of online readings to do in addition to the textbooks. This class is exceptionally heavy on the reading.

Try to rent the texts if you can.

Okay, thanks so much!

This is not one of the easier class you will take at UTA-very time consuming. TONS of reading. Hard grading on the assignments. Be prepared-I would not double up on this class unless you are a history buff.

I'm in this now and will unfortunately be doubling this with research for two weeks. I'm prepared to die. Grading is hard and EACH section takes me about 4-6 hours for reading, taking notes and then going over the lecture and supplementary materials. Then the discussion or reaction. I have a 96 average but this class doesn't allow for slack. It's the most time consuming course I have taken and it requires actual work and effort.

Sounds like you need all the books for this class - from what the other comments indicate... I suggest going to half.com, if you haven't already purchased your books:)
