Hello all! I was scheduled to be in this class with you guys but I took everyones advice and dropped it so I could take it solo. So this is my next class then, capstone. Will one of you please send me the syllabus so I can have an idea as to what to expect or what would be required in this class that I have heard so much about?

Wow, I have just read the previous comments. And from what I read, apparently I have bitten off more than I can chew, for real this time. I completed leadership today and I am in my 4th week of History 1312. I begin vulnerable populations and research on 2/24, so they will overlap with history. Lastly I will take Capstone. My goal was to complete this program by May 2013 (which would be exactly 13months). I must say, that I started this program April 2013, from my degree map I was told I needed to take 5 additional pre-reqs along with my nursing courses. History is the last of the 5. With that being saying I have doubled and tripled my schedule this entire time, while working full-time with 3 small children and managed to still have a little over a 3.0 GPA. Now I have finally neared the end, I'm filled with excitement about finishing up and then I read this thread. I'm over hear seriously debating dropping one of the two courses. With that being said, with my current schedule which class do you all recommend I drop? Which class do I combine with the remainder of history? Thanks so much in advance!

Hello all! Quick question, do I REALLY need all three textbooks for the history 2 class? I have five classes left before I'm finished and I have noticed after buying books for other classes that I could have done without them. So I ask you, which books do I REALLY need for the course? Thanks!

Yay it is over! I'm taking my 84% B happily! At one point I thought I would make an A but that was short lived!

NurseLindah you are correct! I challenged a question or two as well but nothing ever became of it unfortunately. Hopefully your luck was better than mine.

I just completed that class and although I can see how one might say the book is necessary but I maybe read a few chapters in the book total. I got by, by simply reading the modules/class notes from the instructor. I hope this helps! Also, I am wondering this same question for medical terminology that began Monday 10/21/13...... Do I really need the book? Do you know, have you taken this class?

Hello all! I need your help/advice. Through my time at UTA I have bought several books that once the class was over I realized I could have done without. So I am reaching out to past students who have taken the medical terminology course (2013) to see if I can get away with only purchasing the online access code. Thanks a bunch!

Yes this class has been very repetitive and the schedule has been beyond challenging....... but luckily this is the last week! I took a hit on week 4 quiz and that dropped my grade to an 86% (I was trying my best to get an A in this course). Now with weeks 5 assignments left I'll gracefully pardon with a B just to have it over with.

I left a comment earlier, I don't know what happened to it. Anyhow, I will be taking this class too along with Holistic care of Older Adults. According to the syllabus you will need the textbook for government. Texas Politics
