History and Physical

Hi everyone!

I am currently working on history and physicals in my nursing program and was wondering if anyone knew of any websites I could go to that actually shows history and physicals. We were shown in class but its a lot to take in at one time and I want to have something to go off of at home. Thanks so much!!

your cd's show a head to toe physical........if thats not enough i would try youtube. i found a lot of medical stuff on there that i used for clinicals

Do you guys have an assessment book? Do you practice it in lab? I just ask cause it seemed our whole assessment class was just doing histories and physical assessment over and over and over..We also have several video's but for me that didn't help because they're things that are different when you go to do it on your own. Maybe you could just practice it on people at home, I used to practice on my husband.

we used the jarvis book. i cant say if the LPN and RN labs are the same but i cant see why they would be different. they maybe having you do history and physicals over and over cause LPN's work more hands on the patient then RN's do.

my recommendation to you, since your book and videos arent matching up with your practicals. is too show up for open lab and work with your instructors.

Not sure if your response was to me cause you said the thing about doing it over and over but if it was I'm not in an LPN program, I'm in a BSN program.
