43% or Higher on TEAS

Hi Everyone!

I have to get a 43% or higher on the TEAS to get into this nursing program and I take the test Saturday. Just was wondering how easy it is to get a 43% or higher. I am really nervous!

Thanks

Hi,

I just need to get a 43% or higher. not sure what adjusted or raw means.

What kind of program only requires a 43%?

No, let me guess, a very expensive, for profit school? A program that only requires a 43% on the Teas which is a basic knowledge test, is in my opinion, a very subpar school that only wants to put you deeply in debt.

A 43% is pretty low for TEAS. I'm also curious about the type of school it is. The for profit school I started at first had very low TEAS score standards. From what I've seen on here, most competitive programs require much higher, almost double, for acceptance.

I think if you review the TEAS study guide and practice the information, you'll be fine.

Wow! That's super low. I can't imagine you not passing. I would say that you shouldn't find it hard to pass. That score means you have a LOW level of academic preparedness. They have no expectation for you to pass the class, let alone the NCLEX, but they'll gladly take your tuition $.

Good gracious that's low. I'm sure you could pass it without even studying. I got into my LVN program without studying for the TEAS & the program requirement was much hire than that!

You should be fine with that. It's not going to hurt to review things. If you search in the TEAS help section you will find a lot of VERY useful information. I suggest you start there now if you haven't done so already.

I'm in the same boat as you! except my school requires a significantly higher percentage for admission consideration. I have a friend that took the TEAS test just to get a feel for it in order to take it again and they scored in the 70's. So you should be way above a 43%. May I ask what Nursing school you are applying to?

Holy Cow!!!!!!! A 43%??? That's going to be so easy to do! I just took my TEAS this morning and made an 80 on it and only studied this past weekend. Don't worry if you can make a 43......you definitely can......

There are some LPN programs around me that require a 45% on TEAS as well as a 10th grade math and english level on the TABE. You'll do fine. Relax, trust your instincts, and watch your time.

Study the manual that comes on the ATI website, you'll probably get a good grade using that. It helped me a lot. :)
