Hi to everyone! Thanks for giving time reading this post. A little description about myself: i just move here in US since i married my longtime boyfriend. Im now almost 4months here. I am a registered nurse from foreign country. I got licensed in 2011. I plan to take NCLEX here to work and help my husband with all the finances. His been working hard waking up at 1am for work, paying for all bills and expensive immigration papers. Im just in the house right now, i mean always in the house :). Since im not allowed to drive yet because of my status restrictions. I want to start studying in NCLEX at home. My question is how many months should i prepare studying for NCLEX since its been a long time since ive been in a class from graduating in 2011. I do have resources from my old nursing books. Do you have any suggestions for books? Links? And other study guides to share? My resources are limited with my old schools stuff and internet.. Pls help ?.....

Seeing as average processing times for registration application with the state is 4 months suggest 4 months study may be enough with taking time to spend with husband

His Gem, welcome to the USA and AN. You should really invest in the Hurst review. They are good on content and you need a good dose of contents review. Also, visit the library and borrow some NCLEX books. Take a day and go to Barnes and Nobles, you can read their NCLEX book there for hours. Buy a cup of coffee/tea and you can go through their books read and practice questions for hours for free. In the same vein, don't be overwhelmed with a lot of materials. See what works for you. All the best in your journey of passing the NCLEX. Stay focus on your goals and believe in yourself even when it looks unbelievable that you will cross over the NCLEX bridge.

yes I am agree with Hadassah 16,Hurst review is best,I also used saunders 5th and 6th book for content
