Hi everyone

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I am not a nurse, but interested in health care. I am 76 years old and suffering from reflux. So I am searching for new developments in the care for this inconvenience, such as new surgery. I have understood that surgery for reflux is not succesfull, on the contrary. But because so many people suffer from reflux, I think it is worthwhile for researchers and companies to do research in this area.

So I want to stay informed on new developments.

Has anyone experience with Enteryx and if it was a bad one, was the cause of this the treatment itself or a mistake in the way it was done?

As a moderator, I wish you welcome as a new member. But, also, I need to point out to you that allnurses.com is not a medical advice board. But, since you are 76 years old and plucking on the computer, I just want to say also that I admire your reaching out. I am moving this post to the General Nursing Discussion forum so that members can relate their OWN experiences with reflux and treatment, but not to offer medical advice. I hope this is helpful.
