i went to college in 2005 but didnt do to well. i dropped out in 2008...now its 2010 and i'm trying to apply to the hhc (nyc health and hospitals corporation) rn program. i was wondering if anyone did it, and if you did, did you have to provide them with official college transcripts..my old school is not releasing mine since i owe a huge balance..i guess if i cant get my transcripts from them i have to go to the hhc lpn program..but if i do the lpn program once i start working can i bridge to the rn program? please, please help. i've been trying to call the number on the flier but they really don't give much info. thanks.

Hate to say it, and I'm not 100% sure, but any nursing school is going to request official transcripts, regardless of if you want to transfer classes over or not. I had to pay $7000 to an old school that I owed just so they would release my transcripts in order to apply to nursing school. Good luck.
