HH background checks

Hi

I was offered a the job at the HH agency pending background checks. I have to go in and fill out an official application and she said she will do a background check right there. I asked if I should give my notice she said in order for her to give me an official offer she has to do background checks first. My RN license is clear, I never had an accident and never had any tickets. Not sure what else she has to check. I passed my Vet Pro which is a complete federal gov't background check when I was hired by the VA. If all is OK I start July 19th which is after my vacation. Now I can have a life and work days no more working 5 nights a week and no more working everyother weekend. Just hope my background checks get back fast.

    Some hh agencies do background checks by typical BI companies such as Kroll or local companies. They check criminal, education, previous employment, references, credit, government agencies, etc., just as the check you went through for your VA job. It should take no longer than a few days.

    I did go thru the VA background checks including fingerprinting. But I did not go thru a credit check that I know of. I hope they don't do a credit check everything else is great.

    I know that Kroll does credit checks as part of the BI, and the BI that I had for hh agencies did credit checks.
