hi, guys this is my first time logging on but, anyways i am very happy that i will be starting at hfcc august 08. i am soo excited that i call lorraine or mitchell once a week it seems like. letters start going out next week which is feb 28.
does anyone have advice for me because i can use it.
one of my girlfriend graduated may 07 and she says to me just to stay on top of my work and not to get behind but, overall she says that it isn't as bad as people make it out to be.
[color=#48d1cc]another one of my friends is in henryford hospital program and she says the same thing, she tells me that it is lot of work and studying and that the hardest part is actually finishing all of the prereqs, taking the net and actuallly getting in..
[color=#48d1cc]i also hear from alot of nurses that once you get in that u will work hard enough to stay in and to remember that c's get degrees:wink2:
she always say its just like your classes now that u have some extremely hard and some that aren;t so bad but overall to stay on top of assignments and work and that i'll be fine.
well i'm very anxious and can't wait, i know that i'll be fine and that i will do o.k.
is there anyone in here going in with me because i would love to chat with u:redbeathe:heartbeat:redbeathe
i need all the advice that i can get ohh i forgot to tell yall my rasberry littman classic to came last week i'mso excited:yeah:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!:yeah:
The advice u have been given is right on! STUDY STUDY STUDY!
You will love NS....the new friends you make, learning how to think like a nurse and putting your newfound skills to work on real patients!
Buy an NCLEX book to help reinforce your class material. Use instructor office hours and always review your tests. Leave your eraser at home on exam day...do not change answers on tests!
Good Luck and Best of Wishes!

Don't be disappointed if you don't receive a letter from HFCC right away. They send out their letters in about 4 batches, starting in March. I received mine in June, in the final batch.
Good luck to you. That's the best letter in the world.
(Until you receive your graduation letter. )
