Hey any 3.0 pre-req peeps out there! Represent !

I was just wondering if there were any hard working students who are doing a great job and managing to get 3.0. That is my goal. I have to get my gpa up there and I will be happy. 4.0 isn't gonna happen. :cry: Props for all the A students out :bow: there but lets hear from the B kids too :yeah:!!!

I guess I'm about a B+. My GPA is a 3.47....I'm hoping to get it up to over a 3.5 after this semester. I want a cushion when I go into the professional phase of my program. I always strive for an A, but if I work my bottom off and get a B, then I'm still proud of myself because it was a hard earned B. Take care!

HEY MOOSIESMOM...I'm REPRESENTEN!!! I currently have a 3.3, yeah!! hopefully after this semester it goes up to 3.5., I have one more class to take to finish my pre-reqs, that is my math, which actually I am retaking, its my lowest grade of all...a C, so I'm gonna try for a better grade, otherwise I would have finished this semester...not to happy about that..

I have a 3.4 GPA overall after 2 semesters. I'm trying to get a 4.0 this semester and that will bring my overall GPA to a 3.7. I also want a cushion when I go into the Nursing Program Fall of 09. Trying to have a 3.9 by the time I enter.

3.0? For nursing school? Where are you going to school where a 3.0 is a competitive GPA? Every school I have ever heard of sayd you need about a 3.6 -3.7 to be a strong applicant! I wish they weren't looking for brain surgeons. It's so frustrating!! I know I would make a good RN!

I am currently 3.7 but hope to raise my gpa. I don't think a 3.0 would even be considered at the schools I am applying to next year. It is very competative here in the Pacific Northwest. Good luck to us all on raising our gpa's!!

I know that you need better than 3.0 for nursing school but I was talking about the loooooooooow end of 3.0. I need to get mine back up there. I would be happy with a 3.3 at this point !! Which is why I am re-taking some of my old "C" classes. :cry: YUK It will take me forever :yawn:

I'm 3.6 now. I had 3.8 but A@P put it down.
