I'm scheduled to take the HESI entrance exam next month. I've taken all the pre reqs (chemistry, A&P, biology, and many more) but I'm stil freaking out about the test. Does anyone have any advice about this test and how to prepare for it?

I finally can take my HESI too. I have to take it by March in order to make the Spring orientation session which puts me on the waiting list at my school . (Brookdale Community College- EC NJ)
From the people that have taken it here have said..
Must pass each section with at least a 70.
If one section is failed, you fail, and need to retake.
And math conversion (metric and fractions) are a big part of the math section.
I'm going to start studying this week and hope to take it in the coming months!! Good luck to you!!
Thanks for the reply. I'm at Wright State in Ohio. They require an 80 on each part to pass so I'm really freaking out!! Good luck to you also :)

I'd highly suggest the Elsevier study guide (3rd edition). Read through that a couple times, take some practice tests you can find online and in the book, don't underestimate the reading and grammar portions, and you should be fine. I took mine today and received a total score of 94.4%.
Oh and the anatomy and physiology questions are fairly general, mostly about the important stuff. Know how things function, what does what, etc. The math is mostly ratios, proportions, percentages, and fractions. Master those and you'll do great. Feel free to ask me any other questions.
