HESI (MATH) Question

I need advice for Math portion of HESI. Conversions, word problems. Book is helpful, but I want more. Any website or other books that you may have used. I went to an info session a couple of days ago and the Dean stated that in the first semester we will be taking math for nurses and at the end will take a 10 question test and need to get a 90% or higher. And will be drilled with that test each semester. I think it is great because we need to know this for dosage and I like that...it keeps it fresh. I am just starting to stress a little about it. Math is not my best subject so I need all the resources possible. So basically I was wondering what you recommend as far as prepping. Thanks!:)

By the way forgot to mention that I am using HESI Admissions Assessment Exam Review 3rd Edition by Elsevier.

Moved to Allnurses HESI Entrance exam section --ton's of advice here.

Best wishes taking the exam.

I did the best in math and used the website HESI Entrance Exam | HESI - Test-Guide.com.

The website has practice questions on all the sections and helpful tips.

Know adding/subtracting/multiplying/ dividing fractions. Converting decimal to fractions, basic conversions of g to mg and stuff like that, converting cups to quarts, kg to lbs, I had a few questions of ratios.

Word problems were basic of putting into algebra equations.

The math portion wasn't hard it was just time consuming. I think it took me about an hour to complete, so if you are worried about it, make sure you have enough time to complete it and not be rushed.

Hope that helps and good luck!! :)
