What do you use to study with? I love Saunders, & have used it since my 1st day of school. Do the questions, & read the rationale. Do you understand what the question is asking? If you are having trouble w/that look in the front of Saunders...explains it well. Please try to calm down....the more stressed you are....the less clearer you think. If you will just keep doing practice questions, over, & over, & over...you will get the hang of how to answer them. Try your best to understand why an answer is right or wrong. I wish you the best of luck. BTW...keep telling your self I can do it! ;)

Go to the HESI website! I think it's just http://www.hesi.com. Order the HESI review book and the CD set. Both are very helpful. The CDs allow you to take each HESI test (pharm, med-surg, maternity, peds, psych, exit hesi, etc.) 5 times each. The book is great at breaking everything down and the CDs are set up just like you would be taking the actual test at school. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Hello from Dallas, TX,

I am a UTA student on my final try to pass the HESI and need some serious help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. So far, I am studying case studies and have gone thru the HESI book but somehow I feel that I am just not getting some of it. I am studying my butt off but I still don't feel comfortable enough for this test that determins if I can graduate. Can anyone give me advice or help me to understand and pass the HESI? Thanks

My advice would be Saunders....do questions & read rationales. Know major diseases, drugs, & s/e, which pt to see 1st, what to do 1st, which pt for UAP, LVN, RN...diets are a big thing too. I would also look over peds, & ob what stage a child does diff. tasks....immunizations, & stages of labor, feelings during pregnancy ect.If any answer has k+, airway, or green leafy vegs....pick that!:lol2: Good Luck.....rely on what you have learned in school....be positive...you can do it!

That sounds good, I will do that, thanks so much!!!

Its a pain in the butt!:lol2: Health Education Systems, INC. It is suppsto predict your chances of passing the Nclex. You would have to check w/your school, but if you never heard of it....chances are you don't take it.....
