Though I am not an RN student, the Cliffs Test Prep book is excellent for the NCLEX-RN review, as is the Saunders Review for the NCLEX. I hope that helped. :)

I personally used NCLEX-RN (also comes in PN) Made Incredibly Easy, and loved it.
Its up to you whether or not you attend a live review session. If you think you need it, I would attend one. We had one included at the end of our semester that we had to attend- and it was horrible. This is why I say its up to you. I know that review didnt help me at all, but some are good. I'm just not sure which..
you can do it on your own though- just do lots of practice questions, review rationales, and just review!
The night before- DONT STUDY! Relax, go to bed early, get up early, eat good breakfast, DONT STUDY, and drive to the test site.
And dont panic if you dont know a question. Take a deep breath, look down for a minute, then back up at the question.
Eliminate the 2 obvious wrong answers. Then look at the 2 you have left. Which is MORE correct? This is the way to do it!
Good Luck!
thank you for all those tips you said..im taking it next month and i'm also into the live review already. i enrolled just this morning. the medspub review center. is it good? i wanna be in a live review class coz i graduated from nursing school last year and i really have this feeling that i need to take like a refresher review that's why i decided to enroll in this live review.

I won't graduate until May'06 but....I am going to use Saunders & follow Suzanne's advice.....She has helped so many people to pass & thats good enough for me!I have used Saunders all throught school as a study guide & that has worked great.Good luck w/whatever method you choose.:)
