I was an LPN first as well and took my NCLEX tuesday and passed with 75 questions in 45 minutes I would suggest you take the NCLEX course offered by NCSBN (they make the NCLE) and practice lots of question and get Lacharity PDA book

Well, first thing I'd do is be certain that you did fail. I don't want to offer false hope, but there have been instances where a 'fail' popup resulted in a 'pass'.

If you did, indeed, fail, it's extremely important to review the CPR (performance report) to find out where your weak areas were. You cannot fix a problem if you don't know what it is!

Before choosing a program, you need to see what your difficulties were so you know WHAT you are looking for. People will recommend every program out there, but....so what? Maybe you DID take what they recommended.....but still failed. Point is, the program itself is less important than knowing what you need FROM the program.

Does that make sense?

Yes that makes tons of sense. I really felt prepared but it just didnt pan out. I have had several recommend the ncsbn review where u buy so many review weeks. I havent tried that i did mulyiple practice queations and read rationales used books and online . I appreciate all ur input

I used that site from NCSBN for both my LPN and RN...highly recommend.

I am also an Lpn that tested for my RN today and failed with 265 questions. I thought I was ready, had a 96% chance of passing accoring to Kaplan. I feel like such a failure, I just have to dry my eyes , catch my breath...take a brief break and then go at it again. I dont know how to prep though..I did Kaplan and NCSBN.
