You should post this in the nursing student section. You might get more responses there. But its my understanding that you can appeal your dismissal at most schools.
hi mangopeach, thank you, ill repost it there..and i did an appeal and they said no.

I'm sorry, but I LOVE your determination! I'm not sure of an answer for you, but I can tell you don't take no for an answer. Can you re-appeal? Or find another school that you want. You worked too hard to let this stop you, keep fighting, never give up. Good luck to you, hope someone gives you a better answer.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. But, if you didn't pass, how can you appeal?
The reason I ask this is I have an Aunt in Georgia that also teaches Nursing at an ASN program. She had a student years ago that flunked twice, missing the passing mark by 2 points. It even broke her heart to have to failed the student again. But the rules of that program is the students must get a 75% to pass, not even a 74.5% is considered passing. The student couldn't return into that particular nursing program, but is in another program.
Wish you all the best.

so if you did not pass the last class in the nursing program, the school can kick you out of the program? even if you passed all and just the last one? wow, I mean that's horrible. So you have to reapply to another program and retake all those classes you passed? or can you transfer the grades over?
sorry about your situation!! glad you are not giving up!^^
well the policy is if u have two C s in your record, you are dismissed from the program. in 2008 i took another nursing class and got a C and then retook it and got a B. but the fact that i retook it now doesnt matter. and this past spring semester i got a C in my last course. I applied for readmission but got denied, not an appeal.
thanks for the best wishes..iam hoping something works out for me

If you completed more than 50% of the program, including clinical, you really should consider the Excelsior College program if it is accepted in your state. This would be a viable option if you can not find another school to accept you. Good luck. http://www.excelsior.edu
thank you, i am thinking about excelsior but also looking for other schools that i can finish at.
