Help!!!!

Sounds fishy to me. Alli has been around for at least a couple of years. The lab should run a gas chromatography on this. I have never heard of a test result that was neither positive or negative. Please let us know what happens!

Not to say Alli would give you a false positive but I truly believe it depends on what drug they are testing for. Most drug tests are done by looking for specific drugs, amphetamines, THC, ETOL, barbituates....etc...and these tests should be able to give a specific trace amounts found in either the urine or blood, depending on what they are looking for. I don't know of a test that looks for all drugs at once and just says neg/pos as a result.

It was really weird. I stood there while she did the first test - we talked a bit- then she said -"How odd - I am not getting any results." So she grabbed another test and the same thing happened. There were no results coming up on any parts of the test she was doing- for any category. So she said they would have to send it in to be tested. I did a google search on Alli and drug tests and couldnt find any official studies or problems with the drug. But I did find many medical journals about weight loss supplements affecting drug screens. BUT- from the research I did on Alli before starting it - I saw that the drug didnt work off the brain like other supps - but worked off of the digestive system.

I am so upset about all of this, I have been in tears all night. I just cant imagine why my tests would not show results.

It may have been their testing equipment. I have never heard of such thing. It would be a much bigger issue if the test came back positve for something. Take comfort that they sent the sample out probably to a facility with better testing equipment.

Did you offer a blood sample?

Sounds to me like the tests were defective. Did they have an area marked "control" and did anything show up there? If nothing showed up in control- the test is NOT WORKING!!!

And ALLI should not show up on a drug screen.

Take a deep breath. It's fine. Alli will not affect your drug screen. I do drug screens every day at work, and they must have had a bad batch of their UAs . Don't worry.

Results came back negative with no problems. Thank you all for your support - its funny how doubts can make you freak out and second guess something as black and white as this. I appreciate all of the feedback and just wanted to let everyone know.
