I really want to become a nurse and i am currently doing my prerequisite at a local community college to get into a RN program. I was thinking about going into a lpn program since i feel like it's taking so long. I am a stay at home mom so i taking night classes.I am just so unsure what to do? any advice? :banghead:

Take your pre-reqs and study hard. Apply to both the RN and LPN programs. This way you will have the LPN program to fall back on in case you don't get into the RN.

And remember-- it will all be worth it in the end!

Good luck!

RNs enjoy much more a wider variety of job opportunities for much more money than LPNs, so stick with the RN plan if you can.
