Help selecting pmhnp program

Hi,

I would like to complete a PMHNP program. Right now I am debating between EKU and Vanderbilt. I have specific questions about each. Please provide me with your insight

Vanderbilt

- I see students are required to visit campus 8 times!!! What usually occur during these campus visits? Are exams usually in class or online? What grade are students expected to have in order to pass a class (c, c plus, etc???)

EKU

- Can you fast track the program at all?

Have you spoken to advisors yet?

Many grad schools loathe C grades and more than 1 may get you the boot. I don't go to either of those schools, but I think mine allows only 1 or 2 B grades, yes B, and then you're out.

My Brick & Mortar required an 83 or above for every class in the program. Get a final grade below that and you were out.

the MSN program that i'm in requires you maintain a final grade of B (84+) in every class. if you fall below that they allow you to repeat ONE class only, if you fall below that in another class you are invited to leave. MOST graduate nursing programs have a B minimum.

The PMHNP (post graduate) programs that i'm looking at are really rigorous. I'm applying right now as well. please let me know where you end up!
