Good day! I would like to become a BLS/ACLS trainer. Which is better, Red Cross or AHA? Which is recognized widely? Thanks.

definitely AHA... take the BLS and ACLS instructor course given by AHA..AHA is recognized worldwide..if the training is given in association or with affiliation with AHA if it more recognized..does not really matter which country you train in, what's important is that it is affiliated with AHA
Yeah. I thought so, too. It doesn't matter, anyway. I'm still interested in having the training to become a volunteer, then eventually a trainer. I can take it here, then just take it again abroad if necessary. I kind of have a knack for charity and teaching stuff. Funny that I'm not into education. So which is better? Red Cross or AHA?

Sorry, but the training that is given in the Philippines is not accepted world-wide; even if done by the AHA there. What is done there is only recognized there.
Any employer is going to require that you complete a local program in that country before they permit you to begin work.
Simple example: Medications have different names as a start. So if one is going to work in the US or Canada, they are going to need to be tested with those meds and the quantities required in each of our countries. Power is also different, so defibrillators can be different as well and you may not have the same brands that we use here as well.
American Heart Association
a requirement for nurses applying for saudi in the hospital i worked in is life support courses which are recognized by AHA. my bls/acls/pals instructors in saudi, which was AHA accredited, also conduct these life support courses in dubai and egypt. i took my life support courses in saudi and i asked my US employer if i had to repeat my life support courses, and they said i didn't have to a long as they aren't expired yet
Thanks for the replies. Maybe its relative to what state you got it and where you are going to apply it. And AHA/Red Cross Philippines is one of those that is not recognized. What do you guys think? Ms. Silverdragon?

I'm sorry. It's Ms. Suzanne4, not Ms. Silverdragon. My bad.

I too have been told that I would be required to go on the hospital approved course one I was working that anything done before would not necessarily be accepted.
