HELP! Question for medication exam to get a job

I was given a "sample" test to take for a job I am applying for and one of the questions is:

TRUE or FALSE

Every Medical Facility is required by FEMA to have an exposure control plan. I don't ever remember hearing anything about FEMA plans in any job I have worked at. Does anyone know if this is true or false and where I can find the information to back it up.

Thank you in advance!

I dont know anything about FEMA but it sounds like the answer is TRUE

i don't think it's fema (federal emergency management act) i'd think it'd be false, the cdc or joint commission would require that

actually looks like its OSHA just from what popped up on my web search

I would think it is FALSE as well. I think it is an OSHA requirement. I REALLY appreciate everyones input on this, it really helps. I need a 90% to pass and just one question can make a difference.

Oh, I know a lot about FEMA, I just ended a 3 1/2 year relationship with them. Hope I never have to meet up with them again. Still don't have a house, almost 4 yrs after Hurricane Katrina. I hope none of you have to deal with them either.

Anyway, good luck with your job interview and your test.

Its False. FEMA has no power or authority over what we do in our nursing practice.
