I did nursing school in Canada and moved to the states (my husband is american), but unfortunately I failed the nclex. I was heart broken.. but now I'm ready to move on. Does anyone have any tips, or courses that worked for them. I will keep studying and keep my eye on the prize.
Thanks,
Wendy

Consider Suzanne's plan, everything can be found in the stickies and she did the course originally to assist foreign trained nurses pass the exam

Hi Wendy!
I'm from Canada too and I failed the first time as well. Don't feel bad. I'm going to retake it soon using Suzanne's plan. My instructor told me that 40% of those who took the nclex in our school failed it. I find the NClex exam tests your nursing knowledge in a different approach. You just have to learn to how to study for it and how to answer the questions. It's nothing like the CRNE - that's for sure!
Remember stats will show 47% of foreign trained nurses will fail the exam. The exam is different from your own country's exam and better to prepare as if you haven't sat any exam before and start from scratch.
Good luck
Hi baby thanks... they are totally different.
But I will try again... Good luck to you also!
Silverdragon102.. I will start from scratch to study for the exam. Thanks for the great tips.
