hi there!

i don't quite have a website for you, but i am knowledgeable on how to format your resume. i'll try to outline it below as best as a i can...

all margins: .75 inch - 1 inch

font: times new roman, veranda, arial narrow (all 12 point)

top of page: name (center and bolded, 20 point font), address, email, phone number (right below name, 12 point and centered).

for the following categories, make sure to have all of your dates (mm/dd/yyyy) to the left side of your paper. this makes it easier for recruiters to see how active you've been.

:pntrghi:education: date (tab key) degree conferred, school. repeat for however many institutions you've been to.

:pntrghi:license & certification: date (tab key) name of license/cert, state where it was received, and a number if applicable.

:pntrghi:clinical experience: date (tab key) unit, how many hours, hospital's name. repeat for however many clinicals you've had.

:pntrghi:work experience: date (tab key) position title, company's name.

second line: brief description of job duties. use action words! (i.e. assist, supervise, collaborate).

--repeat for however many jobs you've had.

:pntrghi:extracurricular/volunteer activities: date (tab key) position title, activity/company name.

second line: brief description of job duties. use action words! (i.e. assist, supervise, collaborate).

--repeat for however many activities you've participated in.

:pntrghi:awards/honors: date (tab key) name of honor, presenter of award/honor. repeat for however many you have.

:pntrghi:skills: mention computer skills, machinery, bilingualism, and others (i.e. customer service, emt, etc.)

:pntrghi:references: you can just say (available upon request) or list three references (i.e. name, relationship, title, number/email).

make sure each category (i.e. education, skills, etc) has a line of its own and is bolded in order to decipher each section from the others.

also remember multiple spell checks! a resume can be ruined by one misspelled or ungrammatical word!

hopefully, you will get a couple of websites to go along with this!

good luck resume-ing and job hunting!
