Please consult your maternity nursing text book. These are all very basic questions that will be answered by reading the appropriate material.

Are you a nursing student? You should be able to find those answers in your maternal/newborn textbook. I don't want to just tell you the answer because you need to figure out how to find information on your own. If you aren't a nursing student I might be able to answer those questions.

I don't think Getoff is a nursing student.If she is maybe she is not understanding the books so if you could be kind enough to explain it in simple terms lets not forget that not everyone who comes on this board is a OB nurse.
