Hi!!! I'm going to start with a little background.
I'm from Cuba. I've been living in US for 3 years. I finished the English as a Second Language course and now I'm starting the Nursing pre-requisits this fall...The point is that I'm still afraid of speak, and even though I'm kind of smart, I'm afraid I'll stay behind the class. Not that I want to be negative, but is a fact, I'll have to think and speak in another language, and it's not that easy, at least not until I get used to the new language. So the point is....I'd like to organize my schedule in a way that I can handle all the classes... I mean, take one difficult class and a less difficult one, but I don't know what the classes are about, or their grade of difficulty. Also, I don't have too much time...I need to work while in school + the fact that I have a husband who likes attention. :redbeathe lol
I'll appreciate every advise.
So I have to take:
ENC 1101 English Composition 1
SPC 1070 Fundamental of Speech. C
PHI 2604 Critical Thinking
MAC 1105 College Math
DEP 2000 Human Growth and Development
CGS 1060 Introduction to Microcomputers
BSC 2085 + Lab A&P I
BSC 2086 + Lab A&P II
CHM 1033 + Lab Chemistry
MCB 2010 + Lab Microbiology
Those are a lot of classes right?
So I'd like your help choosing which classes to take...
I was thinking in taking 4 classes each semester, and 1 class + lab in the summer.
I'd hope to be applying to the nursing program in Spring 2012....
Thanks again...And sorry for the long post. :)

Hi there,
These are the classes I would take
English Comp 1
Fundamentals of Speech
Intro to computers - this is a super easy class. Its basic stuff, some of which you might be familiar with already if you know your way around a computer and programs like Word,Excel,Powerpoint.
A&P 1 or College Math ( You should check to see if there are any pre-reqs for A&P. For some schools, you may not be able to do A&P until you take certain classes before hand. At my current school, Chemistry is a pre-req to A&P. At my old school College Math was a pre-req for Chemistry, so you had to do both of those classes before you were able to do A&P so check on that to make sure you can start A&P)
I like to take 1 science class per semester. Your philosophy class might require a lot of reading so I probably would not take it with A&P. Its not a hard class but I preferred to take much lighter courses with A&P so I could devote the bulk of my time to A&P.
Good Luck!
