So classes have began for Winter Qtr! I am taking AP 2, Dev. Psych (online) and Medical Term. (online)! I am really having second thoughts though about Med Term, b/c it is A LOT of work for a 2 credit class...there even is a big disclaimer on the website about how it is a very time consuming class. I KNOW AP takes lots of time, as last qtr I spent most of my time studying for that class and was able to still do well in my other classes that didn't require as much time. Now that I am taking 3 time consuming classes, I am a little afraid of becoming overwhelmed. The NSs that I am applying to do NOT require Med Term, I just thought it would be helpful to take prior to NS and I needed a class to be counted as "full-time" for my financial aid. Do you think I should just stick the class out and know that it isn't going to be the end of the world if I don't do AMAZING in the class and try to balance all three, or should I drop it and just focus on the classes I really need??? So confused.
Thanks! Good Luck to everyone this quarter/semester! :)

If you need the class to stay full time (financial aid) I would keep it. Yes, it is a lot of work, but really not that bad. Since you have taken A&P I already some of the stuff will come easy to you. There will be moments that you will be overwhelmed, but it is doable. I too took the class to fill credits. Also, I thought that it would be helpful even though my school doesn't require it either. Just hang in there! : )

What are you going to take in its place if you don't take it to maintain your full time status? Personally, I'd take things that will help you in nursing school or things that are required before you can begin school.
Do you work FT? Have kids? How long is the quarter and how many total credits are you taking? Do you learn easily?

That is the thing, I wouldn't even be able to get into another class I don't think and I am not sure about the rules for my financial aid. I work 4 days a week (25-30 hours) and I am taking 12 credits total. I think I do learn pretty easily and I basically study all day long until I have to go to work or my evening AP class that is 2 times a week. Everyone I have talked to, says it is a helpful class, time consuming, but doable. I just wanted a couple other people's points of view. Thanks for your replies! :)
:) I'd keep it then. :)
