Help! LS 1-LS3

Hey guys,

So I am studying to take LS 1 hopefully in 2-3 weeks. I just wanted some tips. I am using Studyguide 101 and Excelsior practice exams.

Anything else?

I have heard the college network study guides are pretty good but haven't found them online to purchase.

Any input would be really appreciated.

Sorry, LifeSpan 1. It is mainly focused on Cardio and Respiratory.

I used textbooks for deeper study in areas where I was less familiar, and I felt well prepared for these exams.

I have taken the new exams since they changed them in October. Ls 1 know respiratory and cardio front and back know your medications for cardio as well. Ls 2 is very psych heavy know your disorders and meds front and back for that it is a very med heavy test. Ls 3 pretty much know your drug calculations and peds that was kind of peds heavy. Definitely buy the practice exams for all three. I used study group 101 it helped with all my test except Ls 2 you need those books because since they changed the test and it is so psych heavy alot of those questions you could only get the answer from the book some of those answers were no where in study group 101 notes. Other than that good luck I am just waiting for Feb FCCA now

StudyGroup101 Life Span 2 study guide has been updated to correspond to the new textbooks. EC finally stopped using a 2008 text and went to a current one.

that's good I am glad they updated them

Thank you so much for your input. Do you think the SG 101 practice questions were similar to the new tests?

Good luck with the FCCA.

Want to finish as many as I can before having my baby in June.

I was told they have been updated for me the studygroup botes helped a lot I did not want to get all the books. With the LS 2 exam it;s psych heavy so you may want to get that book unless your super good with psych.
