Help. Looking for an NP Preceptor

I am currently finishing up Advanced Pharmacology and having diffcultly locating an FNP to do my clinical rotations with. I live in Tucson,AZ looking to start my rotations the first week of June,2014. Can anyone offer advice on what other avenues I can take?

Larger hospital organizations that include affiliated clinics in our area are designating a point person to field all the calls requesting preceptors for FNP students. You might try calling the main number of hospitals in your area, asking if there is such a person in HR or the education department, and then going through that person.

Best wishes. It is very tight here and difficult to find preceptors. People are booking out far in advance, so you might want to try lining up preceptors for all your semesters now.
