Don't be afraid! The point of an internship is to learn new skills and programs should understand that you haven't yet acquired all of the knowledge required to function in such a specialized area.

I would be more prepared for general questions, like:

- Tell me about yourself.

- Why do you want to be an L&D nurse?

- Tell me about a time you overcame a challenge.

- What's important for you to have in a job?

- What are your strengths? What will you bring to the table?

- What two words best describe you?

Good luck!

i doubt that you will be asked any technical questions. even if you are and you don't know the answer try to think up a tactful, smart comeback like "i'm so nervous right now my mind is a blank" or "i've never done that before, but i sure want to learn how to do it" before the interview. these are the main characteristics that employers usually are looking for in an ideal professional employee:

  • initiative - autonomy
  • dynamism - energy
  • responsibility
  • orientation to the client and co-workers (ability to provide customer service)
  • learning capacity
  • productivity
  • high adaptability - flexibility
  • leadership
  • team work
  • tolerance to pressure
  • analytic ability
  • professional development

so, try to think of answers that demonstrate any of those characteristics. at these links are questions commonly asked at nursing job interviews.
