Help with Finding OB journal articles

Specialties Ob/Gyn

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to find a nursing journal article on say classic c-section vs. vertical c-section with twins.......I don't know how to look it up that specifically the other one is why it is important that moms in labor eat after their water has broken r/t gestational diabetes?

Any help on how to look these up or good site....would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Wolf

a good place to start is with the AWHONN site they have position statesments and lots of articles and continuing education. when you join you get (free) well I say free but you pay to become a member. JOGGN, lifelines and I belive another magazine. If you are interested in joining let me know, I belive you can also just look up on there site and get a lot of information. The cdc is another place you could look. Hope this helps

I usually get this information from my JOGNN and Lifelines. You can also try a search in Nursing 2005 and AJN, RN magazines. But these are mostly directed at med-surg issues/nursing. I subscribe to all of them...occasionally, they have some good OB-related issues in the last 3 I mentioned. GOOD LUCK!'
