To expidite matters, you might look into a technical center/school. I think most of the CC have at least 1 year wait lists.

im starting an lpn program this month at capital area vocational in springfield it's a 9 month program i'll be done next june

Hey....I am a past graduate of Joliet Township's PN school. It "eventually" became JJC's.

The only other school I can think of that is close is Kankakee Community College. Let me know how it works out.

I'm also attending Capital area August classes!!

Well, I know Triton College in River Grove has a LPN program, but Im not sure how long the waiting list is. Harper in Palatine has a LPN program as well. I know that is a travel for ya but those are the only one's I know of.

Illinois Central College in E. Peoria has an LPN program also. I'm unsure of the waiting list though - sorry.

I think there is also a LPN program in Decatur. Their community college maybe, Lakeland? Chellemay or LPnsoon,, either one of you going on to LLCC bridge? It is a good program.

I thought about it. I have to make it through this very intense program first...LOL:p

Do you know how long that bridge program is?

LLCC bridge was if i remember right 6-8 weeks in the summer all day 5 days a week. It was intense too, they basically cramm the first year in review into those short weeks. But its doable, i did.

I guess i should say the bridge is 6-8 intense weeks followed by the second year that starts in August and goes through May.

Hello, South Suburban College in South Holland, IL has a LPN program.

Hi,

Just make sure to complete "ALL" of the pre-reqs, (same as for the RN program I think) and the deadline.
