Hi again everyone!
After finding out my account here disappeared, I decided to make another profile. I was Soror AKS now I'm Wizard 1...Same thing different day.
Staying clean (17 years now) and running my aromatherapy business from home.
One thing is new: I head up North in December (again) to talk to the Board about Probation term modification. It is my hope that they will be reasonable and use common sense this time around. A real path to licensure instead of perpetual Probation like it is spelled out now. I am not sure where I will go from there if I am successful in my appeal. So much has changed since this odyssey began. We'll see.
Glad to be back and posting.

D'oh.....how/why'd they deactivate you. I was wondering why we had heard from you in a while. Least I knew you were still in thinking mode. So you're going to challenge them? Here's hoping something that vaguely resembles common sense prevails.

Welcome back!!! How in God's name are you still in probation with 17 years clean? My prayers that some reason appears with the Board

Wow, how'd your account get deactivated?? Crazy, I remember biting my nails for you when you had that very last minute false positive which delayed your contract end date by for freakin ever (that's what it felt like to me and I KNOW it had to have been 100x worse for you!). That's two of my biggest fears right there: false positive, and not getting out when they say I'm gonna get out! I have a day counter on my phone and if zero comes and goes and I'm still stuck in this god awful program I'll go crazy!
Welcome back!
You wouldn't go crazy. You'd find a way to get through and not let them beat you.
Because even though they reinstated my suspended license, I'd been out of practice for a while. They decided they needed to add other bs requirements because I'd had the audacity to move out of state. Plus at the time I was still on monitoring. Plus, they just enjoy causing people grief.

I have no idea why they deactivated me. I just decided to not deal with it because I have better stuff to do.
Yes, I am returning to challenge the decision made by the Board. I am also hoping something resembling common sense prevails.
Wow in the insane world of monitoring land this may be the stupidest thing ever. Recovering summed it up for me my biggest fears are the false positive and being extended for god knows what reason
From what I understand, the policy is that no member is deactivated without knowing why, so it was most odd. Probably a computer issue somewhere. I'm just glad to be back with the community.
And we're happy to have you back. Proof positive that people do get out of this BS with a little bit of sanity intact.
