Hello

Hi,

I am a new member and wanted to say hi. I have been a LVN for three years. I am IV and bloodwithdrawel certified. I would like to add more certifications to my Resume. I am not sure which certification I should go for next. I understand there is a pharmacology certification available. Is their anyone who currently holds it? I live in California. Would employers recognize this certificate? As I am currently seeking employment and need my resume to stand out. Are there any certifications you can get for wound care? Hope to hear from you.

Thanks, tropical bound

Welcome to our group! I also like to attend as many of the CEU seminars as I have the time for, I think the more education we get the better.

I would say to go for wound care, EKG interpetation and long term care certifications. You would have a better advantage for telemetry, visiting nursing and such. I am about to take the wound care seminar in a few weeks, but I live in New York. Where are you located?

Hello,

Thank you for responding. I live in California and am having problems finding locations for these certifications. I would love to become wound care certified except I dont qualify. I understand that you Have to have 2 years @ full time status directly working with wounds. You also must provide verification of the above. Did you recieve ekg and long term care certification online? What company did you go through? Have you heared of Pharmacology certification through NAPNES. Hope to hear back from you.

Take Care, Tropical Bound
