Hi! i joined here because i need an advice very badly.. im soooo confused on what to do. I graduated BSN a year ago and took NCLEX-RN just last week, unfortunately i didnt passed. I tried to divide my time to review coz im also working in a corporate office. I used Saunders book and finished the CD.. now im thinking to take LPN instead so i could practice nursing, coz i want to take nclex-PN next month, you think 1 month review is enough for me to understand all bout LPN? and what kind of book reviewers do i need to use?? and also do i need to enroll in some review centers?? plssssssss... help me to decide....

I would focus on preparing to take the NCLEX-RN again. There is a completely different set of material that you would need to prepare for the NCLEX-PN exam. And if you are also working fulltime, the one month is not enough time to prepare. At least in my opinion.

Hi! I'm really sorry you didn't pass NCLEX-RN. I was wondering, how many questions did you get? Yeah I think the NCLEX-PN is much different than the NCLEX-RN. I don't think 1 month is enough to review....I've heard of Suzanne's study plan for the NCLEX and everyone who's used it says its great. But its a 6 week plan, so i would give yourself a couple of months to practice and review. I will be taking the NCLEX-RN next thursday so I really hope i pass the first time....I encourage you to retake the NCLEX-RN. You've seen the test, now you know what to expect. You don't have to enroll in review centers- its not mandatory, but people do enroll and helps them mostly with test taking strategies. I've been using Saunders too, but I'm also using Kaplan (paid for by my school). Kaplan review questions are much more difficult but helps you think, and I've heard they are similar to the real NCLEX. I hope this helped a little. and good luck! You can do this! :)

welcome to allnurses!!
the best advice i could give you to send a pm to the moderator of this forum, "suzanne4". she has a study plan she has made up, and she has a very high success rate with this plan. it takes six weeks to complete though, so if i were you i'd write her right away. she has plans for both the nclex-rn and nclex-pn. for the nclex-rn, tell her what you have been using as she would like to know what has not worked for you in the passed. send her your email address in a pm and request both plans (nclex-rn and pn).
best of luck to you!
