Nov 13, 201411 yr You need to apply to take the NCLEX or you've done that and need an IL license? Have you checked the IL BON website?

Nov 15, 201411 yr Expert I just want to challenge the NCLEX-PN exam,while working my papers for NCLEX-RNIf I am not mistaken, I believe that California and Virginia are the only two states that allow foreign-trained RNs to challenge the NCLEX-PN to become LPNs/LVNs. I am not sure that the Illinois Board of Nursing allows this, although you may want to call or email them to reassure yourself with the final answer.
