Have a question and need help

I'm calling on Monday to schedule my NCLEX-PN test and I know that Louisiana doesn't participate in quick results, so I was wondering if there is any way once I take the test to find out if I passed. I had heard that you couold check the state board of nursing and see but I am totally clueless on how to do that. I looked at the website and all I could find was a way to verify your license and you had to do it by mail. Does anyone know? I don't think I can bear waiting to find out, the anxiety from the exam is already getting to me! Thanks!!!!

As far as I know, there is no way of knowing ahead. Try to keep your mind on something else. It'll come before you know it. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping though!!! My cousin took hers last May in Arkansas and they don[t participate in quick results either and she was able to go to their state board of nursing website and click on license verfication and type in her name 48 hours after her test and there was her name and license number. The wait will be awful!

You can do the same on the LSBN website in 48hrs. I did.

Could you give me the link and what to click on when I'm there? This would be so great!!!!:)

There is a quick way to discover your results of the NCLEX in Louisiana. Go onto the LA State Board of Nursing Site and follow the "NCLEX Quick results" directions.

I went there and unfortunately it's only for RN's. LPN's have a different stae board website and we won't be able to check. I take boards on Tuesday and don't know how I will stand the wait after!
