I am really missing my middle school kids. The younger kids are so cute and less sassy. I just feel like my new role is all about pants. Poopy pants, peepee pants, ripped pants, pants too tight, pants too loose, etc!!
At one of my schools - there is a huge closet filled with extra uniforms!! The pants are just in a big mountain. I find one pair - get the kiddo back in class and here comes another one. Never can get the parents......
Will be dreaming about pants this weekend!!

Ahhh, the pants parade. One of the many joys of elementary school nursing. Give it a few weeks. The kiddos will adjust to the new potty schedule and timing at school and you will start getting less of them. Also, maybe the PK and K teachers can ask the parents to bring an extra set of clothes to keep at school? This is done in the PK rooms at my school and it does help cut down on the number of accidents I have to deal with. Have fun!

That's why I like my high school kids. Although I do have to deal with girls who bleed through their pants. Hang in there SchoolnurseBSN, it will get better.
