:balloons: Hello, Beeutiful and Welcome to Allnurses.com:balloons:

I can move your question to the International Nursing forum for a better response, if you wish. The moderator for that forum should be back in a couple of days and probably will be able to give you better insight.

Thanks I appreciate it.

You are welcome.

Suzanne, the moderator for this forum will be back this week. She has much information regarding things such as this.

Depends on where you eventually wish to work. Canadian and US training will give you the most opportunities. If you train in the UK, and later wish to work in either the US or Canada, you will be required to make up some classes. They train under a different system there.

Suzanne, and what if i want to go to Canada with my US diploma and US license? Do i have to take any extra classes? Or take a test? Or i just get accepted?

I was thinking of, maybe ,going to Canada for a little while, later on, after i get my green card.

You will need to get a Canadian license and be aware that some of the provinces are now requiring a 4 year BSN for initial licensure. You will also need to go thru the regular immigration formalities for working there since you do not hold a US passport and are not covered under the NAFTA Treaty.

Hope that this helps.:wink2:
