Haiti

I am doing a cultural consideration project and our cultural group are patients from Haiti. I am looking for nursing journal articles regarding Haiti &/or Haitian population that are current (within the last five years). Almost everything I am finding dates back to the earthquake. Any suggestions, leads, etc.?

I googled "Nursing journals Haiti 2014" and had several to come up in the search that were newer than 2010. May want to search again and see if any "fit" what you need. Good luck!

I googled Nursing Journals Haiti 2014 before I ever asked the question. The earliest journal article is 2011. Most nursing journal articles concern the emergency/rescue response from the earthquake from the 90s. Is there any nurses out there that have worked in Haiti or with a Haitian population that would be willing to chat?

Try contacting the Salvation Army they have had a medical and evangelical presence in Haiti for decades. There is a contact us section on their website.

The earthquake in Haiti occurred in 2010 not the 1990's so it was less than 5 years ago. Articles from 2011 are only 3 years old. If you need journal articles from within the past five years that encompasses 2009-2014. The earthquake was only 4 years ago.
