Hey ya all,

I am in Ca in Nursing school but lived in Ocean Springs for several years- do any of ya' all live in biloxi or ocean springs? Thinking seriously of moving back after graduating- what are the licencing reqs for MS? what is the pay like?

Hi, I live in Gulfport. The pay down here is not that great. The hospital I work for has become very understaffed because nurses have gone to agency and travel. Many have gotten Louisiana licenses and commute.

As far as licensure is concerned I'm LPN and i'm not sure of the requirements for RN. You may want to check out the MSBON site.

I hear Ocean Springs Hospital is one of the better paying hospitals. There are a lot of agencies down here, also. Hope this helps a little.

hi, i live in ocean springs, work home health in biloxi, lots of opportunities here, you can go online to sunherald.com, nursing ads to see them all. pay is average, depending on years experience, certifications and area you work, school system is good, quality of life great. qualifications are graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current liscence in other state, no ceu's required. :p

Hi, I am new to this area and am looking at doing home health part time. I am an ICU nurse but can't do shift work due to childcare and my husband's job hours. I have always wanted to try home health. Do you like it? Who are some good agency's to work for? Thanks for any info.
