By guess, do you mean you just randomly picked any answer, or did you guess by trying to narrow down your choices (which im hoping you did).

Just remember the number of questions you get doesnt mean a thing, and that each persons test is different. No 2 tests are the same, as no 2 people test the same.

Best of Luck.

3 Things:

1. The NCLEX is meant to be a pain in the a$$ test to all. Nobody walks out of the test feeling like they aced it, and mainly everyone thinks they failed it.

2. Its good that you did narrow down to the most correct answer. On most tests, you can eliminate 2 right off the bat, and then from the remaining 2, you need to choose the best answer.

3. Nobody gets 100% right on the NCLEX. Its ok to miss questions. The way you pass/fail is that the computer determines with a 95% accuracy rate whether or not you pass/fail.

There are many myths about the NCLEX. Take a look around and you will see many of them.

For instance, the number of questions you get doesnt mean anything. you can pass at 75 (85 PN), or fail at those numbers. There is no magic number.

Secondly, the last question. Whether or not you know you got it right or wrong does not mean you passed or failed, respectively. The last questions has nothing to do with your passing status.

Its a hard test, and if worse comes to worse you retake it. You can get some great advice on here. However, if you do pass, thats great! Remember, nobody feels like they passed this test. Its hard. Its meant to test you. After all, they cant just give this test and make it easy as pie...

When will you have your results?

Thank You that really does ease my nerves.I get my results in 1 week.I just pray i passed.

On one of the papers I recieved from school on taking the nclex it said if you choose the same answer over and over you have a 70% chance of passing. Maybe I should have tried that and I might have passed. lol. Dont feel bad you have to guess something to go to the next question at least. I hate the nclex exam!! good luck to you.

I PASSEDDDDDDDDDDD!

I am doing the sauders review book and almost every single time I can narrow it down to the last 2 answers and it never fails.....I always pick the wrong one and sure enough it is the other one I had narrowed it down to...ARGH!!!

Do you understand though, why the answer you chose is wrong, and why the correct answer is the right one?

Dont just do the questions, make sure you understand the rationale behind each answer and why or why not it is the correct answer.

Oh yes I am starting to. Still fustrating. I guess I am doing pretty well as far as getting 75% on the end of the chapter quizes in the saunders but the few uestions I get wrong that is the case.

A lot of people guess and there is no way to know if you passed. Some say that if it was hard you passed, and if it was easy you failed. I found the nclex-pn to be very simple, I had 85 questions and passed. I found the nclex-RN to be the most difficult test I ever took. I had 75 questions and passed. Hang in there. You will be finding out soon!
