Hi to all the FL nurses. Can anyone tell me what is there to do in Florida besides work? Entertainment etc... I am relocating in july and would like to know how people spend their free time??

The interesting thing with Florida ... is it really depends on where you live. If you live inland ... then there are many things to do ... i.e. Orlando .... etc.

If you live on the coast, then obviously the beach is the place to be.

Each area of Florida is rich with culture, theater as well as many things that can peak interest. So, in all fairness to your question .... you need to let us know where it is that you are planning to go in Florida so we can narrow the field and answer your question. :)

Hi! Lately my free time is studying. But I enjoy going to yoga classes, dog parks with the pups, bowling, concerts and theater. Eating out is fun too, lots of great restaurants. We're going to see Josh Grobin tonight!

Of course the beach, but don't make it as often as you'd think. Eventually the novelty of living near the water wears off. Perhaps when I switch from night shift to day shift, I'll go to the beach more often to read and study because I love the beach.
