You should for initial license by examination at the board of nursing for the state you would be moving to. Then apply at Pearson vue to take your NCLEX. Have your school send the required documentation to the state BON that you applied to. When you get your ATT you can sit the exam in any exam center in the country you wish.
if the state you are applying to allows you to submit finger print cards by mail then you would never even have to physically visit the state you wish to be licensed.

I'm set to graduate next year and planning to relocate to another state across country shortly thereafter. I know sometimes it can take a little time to get an ATT. I'm wondering whether it would make more sense to just plan to take the NCLEX in the new state? Rather than waiting for the ATT, taking the test, and then submitting for endorsement.
